GENERAL INFORMATION for those new to FWLA
Far West Lacrosse is open to boys and girls from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area. Our box lacrosse season runs from mid April to mid-July. Gym warm-up sessions will be offered starting in mid-February every year. Our season will consist of indoor and outdoor practices, exchange games with other associations in the Montreal area and a tournament. Players will need lacrosse equipment (see the equipment section) and the association will provide a team jersey for the season.
The age groups as follows:
6 years and less: Paperweight
7-8 years : Tyke
9-10 years : Novice
11-12 years: Pee-Wee
13-14 years: Bantam
15-16 years: Midget
17-18 years: Intermediate
17-21 years: Junior
22 years: Senior
35 years + up: Masters
